It is nice when a tool is functional and really does what you need. It is a bonus when it is beautiful too. From the box it come sin to the artistry in the design, this is great. Almost looks like something for a display case more than a tool. That said, I got this when I picked up my new saw, and setting the miter gauge to the blade with a square is the standard, using this, I was able to see if it was out and by how much. Setting the fence perpendicular to the table was the same thing. These old eyes sometimes have a hard time seeing the gap wiht a square, here i could see the angle measurement and get it dead on.
This thing is beautiful. When I first got it I really debated on just displaying it somewhere and not actually using it out of fear of scratching it. I received this for free with a promo for a Harvey tablesaw.
Functions wise, it has alot of different ways to measure/mark that I have never had on a similar tool. Very precise and dead flat. I've only used it for about a month so far but it's definitely built like a tool and not a fragile art piece.
Overall I'm very impressed with it. It's a great tool and, although I've never put stock in how a tool looks, it's by far the prettiest tool in my little shop.
This Gauge looks like a show piece, it's eye catching, and makes you wonder on whether it works as good as it looks, and it does!
Really love the height/depth gauge to help setup those awkward non-standard heights on the blade/router bit or to get a reading on a slot and the transporter to set a proper angle on your miter gauge.
Well-made and perfectly accurate. It has many different uses for checking squares, angles, and heights—a definite must for most workshops.
very handy to stick onto the saw or drill press and accurate
One of the best squares i have, checking angles and meassurements makes it fine and true, adaptable multifunctioning with awesome aesthetics.
So far everything I have gotten has been of the up most quality and the UG-1 I KIT is no exception ! I am planing to get something new every month so keep coming up with new stuff
Build quality is top notch and utility is tremendous. Still figuring out all of the things this can do.
Can’t say enough about the quality of every item. Excellent products.
Very nicely made and very accurate gauge for woodworking.

Seemed like a good idea at the time.. rearranging the marking up tools drawer following a little delivery from@bridge_city_tool_works .Thought I might try to use foam for keeping everything in place this time, only problem there is, the only thick foam in the house is the wife’s Yoga mat...Do I feel brave enough..

After making several angled cuts for a board stand, I don't move to my next step until I make sure the saw is ready for its next use.
