Easy Adjustments

Iron Adjustment

Easily adjust the cutting depth using the knurled locking wheel, ensuring precise and effortless adjustments to meet your specific requirements. Rotating the Knurled locking wheel clockwise increases the cutting depth, while rotating counterclockwise decreases it. When the knurled locking wheel is turned one full revolution, the cutting depth changes by 0.45mm (0.017”).

Mouth Adjustment

Additionally, the mouth opening can be easily adjusted by loosening the front tote and sliding the front sole as needed, minimizing tear-outs and splits when working with difficult grain patterns.

Standard Shoulder Iron Kit

Experience the versatility of the included shoulder iron kit, featuring an adjustable mouth for fine-tuning shaving thickness and achieving clean and accurate cuts even on challenging grain patterns. With the 20° iron bed and bevel-up installation, the cutting angle of this should plane is 20°.

Whether using the shoulder iron or rabbet iron, the Depth Stop Assembly ensures consistent and accurate grooves up to a maximum depth of 28mm (approximately 1-3/32"). It can be easily installed on either side of the plane body to accommodate your specific needs.
