The DJ-3-J Jaw Kit is an optional accessory for DJ-3 Universal Drilling Jig, it includes the 45° Miter Jaws and Long Accessory Jaws.

With this Jaw Kit, you can drill dowel holes on 45 degree miter pieces or drill angled holes on flat surfaces. This kit will take the drilling capabilities of DJ-3 Universal Drilling Jig up a notch!

Want miter joints that can be strengthened with dowels?
The DJ-3 Universal Drilling Jig, when fitted with the 45° miter jaws, will always drill holes perpendicular to the mitered edge directly on the centerline.

In addition, with the compensation of the adjustable jaw, the optimal strength can be achieved by moving the hole as close to the inside face as possible to drill the deepest hole without drilling through the stock.

Stock of ANY length can be drilled with the 45° miter jaws, and the maximum width of stock that can be drilled in this case is up to 7-9/32" (185mm).

Angled Drilling on Flat Face
Drilling holes at an angle is extremely easy with the long accessory jaws.

In conjunction with Long Accessory Jaws, the large diameter bits with nominal shank diameters can be used for drilling large holes.

Using this setup, holes can be drilled up to 45 degrees. The maximum thickness of stock is up to 5-5/16" (135mm).

The thoughtful design of the index pins makes it much easier to align the two jaws and adjust the both adjustable reference surfaces to be planar.
