Perfect Compact Square for Precision Work

I recently picked up the Mini Miter Square from Bridge City Tools and it has quickly become one of my favorite go to layout tools. The fit and finish are excellent, with very tight tolerances that make it feel like a true precision instrument rather than an afterthought accessory.

It is a bit smaller than I initially expected, but that is not a downside at all. In fact, the compact size makes it incredibly useful for fine work and quick checks in tight spaces. The edges are spot on for marking and checking 90 and 45 degree references, and I find myself reaching for it constantly on smaller projects, boxes, drawer fronts, and anything where accuracy matters on a crowded bench.

It is obvious this was designed by people who actually use squares. The weight, balance, and edge quality are all well thought out. If you are serious about precise joinery and squareness, this little square is absolutely worth adding to your kit.

Highly recommended for woodworkers of all levels.

Fine tune the dados on the swing arm lamp wall brackets. Using the #lienielsentoolworks small router plane to make sure the dado bottoms at perfectly flat and small brackets with holes sit square and true to each other before glue up. Got to try my new tiny @bridge_city_tool_works square. Perfect size for this small work.
