Quality tool with amazing results!

This tool is the most fun i have had with scraps in a long time. Just the combining and milling the donor wood and then the results the jig gives is incredible.

Love the chopsticks

I needed a relaxing way to start my day. Bought the chopstick master and now I make a pair each morning in my shop. It’s easy to use and I had the hang of it after only two or three pairs. I bought the optional green bar and the 50 degree plane blade and that’s all I use now.

Starting out

The chopstick jig is very high quality and well thought out, the more I use it I’m finding ways to tweak my technique to make it even easier and adding quality to the project. The one thing I have bypassed is the system for creating the finials, I have made a jig for my disc sander and can finish the end in less than ten seconds. Overall, it’s a great and beautiful jig!

This thing is so much fun to use dead simple to use, i look forward to bringing this along with me to family events and gatherings, kids and parents all love making chopsticks they can take home or its a super effective way to use even the smallest of scrap wood.

I think my only small complaint is id rather it come with the japenese style chopstick bar they are much more popular style in my area, however its not expensive to get.

Wonderful after watching a tutorial

Been having fun with the chopstick master, the design feels sturdy and purposeful. Reading the manual, I still couldn't quite figure it out, my first couple pairs were terrible, then i realized that the blanks were a bit long and when I locked it into place with the pin it was bowing. I'm not very experienced with wood work so it was a learning curve. I think more online videos with more up close shots that were a little slower and showing each step would be beneficial. Maybe a QR code in the manual sending you to the video would be helpful as well. It is a lot of fun and my hope is to laser engrave them and 3d print some custom boxes for them. Cheers.

This thing is awesome. I've made a ton of chopsticks and everyone keeps asking for more. I didn't think it would be this popular.

Chopstick Master Gen 2

This has been a very enjoyable and simple tool to learn and work with. My young boys and I have already made a few successful chopstick sets!

I must like it….

It’s the second one i ordered. Great for teaching the basics of using a plane and for showing how useful jigs are.
