Love it. Usable out of the box with the famous bridge city packaging!!!!

Limited use so far but here are initial thoughts.
Beautifully packaged which is nice if wrapping as a gift but for me I would save money on pretty boxing. I would prefer a faim insert that could be used in the shop.
First plane I've had where after a quick strip it was ready to use straight away, very nice.
Used to bevel some sharp edges and played around with thinning down small strips using the skids
The real test for me comes when I build my next boat. I plan to use for planing the lands on the clinker/ lapstrakes planks, using the plane with one skid to act as a guide.

Amazing quality and looks so cool. Almost too cool to use. But this little block plane works amazingly. A must have in the wood shop.

There is nothing to dislike. The choice of materials is odd based on my experiences with old school Stanley's, circa 1900's. But its an awesome affordable mine block plane. With depth adjustability. It really is a slick piece of equipment!

This plane will be smaller and lighter than you expect, but that is the idea of this plane - a small, handy block plane. I just stropped the microbevel using some stropping compound and it cut quite well. I'm sure that a careful sharpening would make it even better, but it is useful and lovely as it is, almost right out of the box. I got it for well under $100 so I'm pleased with it.

Very nice. One of the best quality tools in my shop. Fast divert.

It's just a awesome little plane and works perfectly. I was only trying to price it for the delivery to Scotland UK. And pressed wrong button and ended up buying it.. Don't regret it for a minute though. Wish I could afford more of bridge city tools and the Harvey tools. But unfortunately there a bit expensive to get here in the UK.
